Amélie Poméon is a PhD candidate affiliated with the Centre for Migration Law, the International and European Law Department and the Management Faculty. She holds an LL.B. from the universities of Cologne and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in German and French Law, as well as a Maîtrise en Droit from Paris I and an LL.M. in International and European Law with a focus on Human Rights and Migration from Radboud University.
Currently, she is working on her dissertation on the externalisation of EU migration control, more specifically the cooperation of the EU and its Member States with third countries in ensuring this control, as well as the legal position of migrants under said cooperation.
